Em and Ju
While Daddy is at work, us girls get to spend fun times together. We got to dance and spin around the living room with an exercise band, do a small craft, and read the paper together. Ju ju loves her Disney books, and so tonight we read the story "The Sword in the Stone". She opens the storybook to the title page and picks her favorite, which is as of late Cinderella. A yummy dinner of goldfish crackers, fruit and milk rounded out our evening. Mommy loves to take a break from cooking. Julianna earned 2 stickers for her potty chart, and is getting back into the swing of things after being sick. She is such a funny little girl. When asked a question, such as, "are you hungry?" this is her reply "Yes, I do." Improper English? Perhaps. But it is oh so cute. She is also a good singer. Often I will hear her sweet little voice singing a song from church, or one she has made up while she is flipping through the pages of a book. Girls are so fun. Julianna is my best friend, and it is so fun watching her progress and grow. She sometimes likes to say the prayer with a little prompting, and then when we get to the end, Mommy or Daddy say "in the name of..." and by that time she has skipped that part and exclaims, "AMEN". She has become scared of monsters lately. Don't you wonder how children discover monsters? She will say something about monsters being scary and then immediately assure herself that monsters are "betend", and only in books and movies.

This is the Place October 31, 2009
For Halloween this year, Jubean, Mommy, Laura, and Whitney went to This is the Place. We wore our costumes for the event. The place was all decked out for Halloween, with scary ghosts and goblins, witches, and plastic spiders. Our first activity was facepainting. Even Laura enjoyed herself. The gals all turned out really cute.

A B C D
While being very productive on the computer, I hear a sweet little voice in the bathtub singing. The song selection for today? The ABCDEFG song. That is as far as the song usually goes. Today the song was altered a bit ABCDEFG want to watch the monkey show. What is a monkey show? Curious George of course. I loved these books as a child, and now they have made it into a cute (though sometimes annoying) show. Two years old and already a songwriter? Well of course.
