Don't you just love how kids say words differently? Julianna twirls her R's, and it makes for a quite a few laughs. She also calls the table a taber, and Ryan just loves to get her to say it for a quick chuckle. She has this book almost memorized, and when we read to her, joins in. She makes my day!

Gather Round the Table.
Some of our favorite times are at the kitchen table. We do projects there, we color there, and perhaps most importantly, we eat there. I like to ask Julianna what she wants for breakfast. Usually it is omeal (oatmeal), seral (cereal), or milk. The other day, however, she wanted salad. Well I made her a spinach salad with sliced almonds, crunchy rice noodles, and a poppy seed dressing. She actually seemed to enjoy it, and ate at least 4 or 5 bites. I need to be more like this and rejoice in my veggies!
